What we collect
When you use GetLaid, we collect the minimum necessary to operate the service:
- Account information (email, name) when you sign up via Clerk
- Conversation text you paste or screenshots you upload for analysis
- Usage data (number of analyses run) to enforce plan limits
- Payment information processed by Stripe — we never see your card details
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the service:
- Conversation text is sent to OpenAI's API for analysis and is not stored longer than necessary
- Analysis history is saved to your account so you can review past analyses
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your conversations to train AI models
Third-party services
- Clerk — authentication and user management
- OpenAI — AI analysis of conversations
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel / Railway — hosting infrastructure
Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Data retention
Analysis history is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes all associated data.
